WELCOME TO THE GUITARVERSE

Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey into the world of music and unleash your inner guitar virtuoso? Look no further, as our seasoned guitar and bass teacher is here to guide you on your path to musical excellence.

Meet Martin, our experienced guitar instructor, who has been playing guitar and bass for over 30 years and teaching for more than a decade. Even before completing his music education, Martin was performing and recording as a session musician. Alongside teaching, he also contributes to soundtracks for indie films and games. Martin's musical interests range from pop, folk, rock, blues, funk to more contemporary styles like trip-hop, ambient music, various metal subgenres and other progressive styles.

TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

Martin's teaching philosophy is built on the foundations of patience, enthusiasm, and a personalized approach. He understands that every student is unique, and tailors his lessons to meet individual needs and goals. Whether you're looking to learn your favourite songs, understand music theory, or develop your own unique style, Martin will guide you on this musical adventure.

''I am constantly learning with each passing day. I have never considered that I have reached my maximum potential. All these years of learning, periods of fascination, and frustration have taught me a great deal. By observing myself, other guitarists, and my students, I have developed unique teaching methods. I have devised a very clear and effective method for learning music theory, which I have not seen anyone else use - I call it the 'finger method.' I also have a fantastic series of exercises that yield tremendous results at surprisingly rapid speeds. I approach my students exceptionally because, after all, each of us is different. Even music is perceived differently by everyone, in their own unique way. A good teacher should recognize the potential and possibilities in a student, be aware of the strengths and weaknesses of his students, and know how to work with them. There is also a very important thing to mention here. I also teach what I would call a spiritual factor: musicality. Musicality brings the idea, brings the feel, tells the story, translates places, people, and feelings into sounds. It's hard to maintain, but it's even harder to begin with. I believe it comes out of the person and the person's journey through life. This thing is rare. Music needs a soul, not just technique.''
